The entire
system supports text data in the Unicode format, allowing it to effortlessly
handle any international characters, including Asian
and Middle Eastern characters. Unicode is the native format for
text data on the Windows NT, 2000, XP and Vista operating system
families, allowing the applications to run with maximum
efficiency on these operating systems.
Unicode is fully supported on the Windows 95/98
version as well.
Note that to display certain international characters,
you may need to install additional fonts on your computers. Some
of these fonts are available for free download from the
Internet, while others are included in some distributions of
Microsoft Office.
