Routing and Subnets
It is not required
that all computers in the System be within the same subnet.
It is required that all computers running the User
Station software have a network route to the computer running the
Manager software, and vice-versa. If you use the Web
Reservation Module, the computer running that module must have a
network route to the computer running the Manager software.
DNS Server
A DNS Server is not required in your network, as
the System contains an internal name resolution function. The System does not rely on the sometimes
unpredictable and
unreliable Windows Computer Browser service.
